One simple anti-aging solution for eyes, neck and face?

If there is one advice that all dermatologists and skincare experts give, it is to start paying more attention to your skin than ever when you are hitting your thirties. As we approach our 30s, hormonal changes set in, collagen and elastin production reduces and you notice your first signs of wrinkles and aging. As I keep getting closer to the big 30, I have been trying to switch my skincare routine to include more anti-aging products for my skin.

However, the market is flooded with all kinds of products. I mean how do you choose? There's anti-aging serums, masks, creams, moisturizers, the list is unending. Plus, there are different products for different parts of your face! Anyone who knows me knows how I lack the patience to apply ten different things to my face and especially when I am in a hurry in the mornings. Now, I have a very sensitive skin which loves to breakout at the slightest of opportunity, which means I do have some acne marks, uneven skin tone. Add to that the appearance (any time now) of fine lines and wrinkles, even the thought scares me!

Luckily, I recently got the opportunity to test the Simplicity Skincare Reversal Protection Complex Moisturiser and Superior Serum. What got me interested was the fact that this product is one solution for eyes, face and neck. I mean you don't need ten separate products for those problem areas!

The first thing that caught my attention when I received the it was the packaging. The pumps are easy to use and do not dispense too much product which is great.

As per the brand's promise, all you need to do is take one pump of the serum and moisturizer, mix them together and gently apply to your face, around the eyes and neck, twice a day and you can see a visible difference in your skin and it doesn't make your skin greasy. You can use the two separately because even as single products they are great. But if you mix them and use, the results will be better since the moisture and serum compliment each other’s properties and ingredients.

Talking about the ingredients. one ingredient that I particularly wanted to talk about is Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic acid is a highly recommended product by dermatologists the world over for improving the skin texture, appearance, and to give it an anti-aging boost. Our body produces this acid and it helps retain collagen in the skin. However, as we age, the production of this acid drops and hence, the fine lines, wrinkles etc.

The Simplicity Skincare moisturizer + serum contains Hyaluronic Acid in the right quantity and hence, is great for moisturizing your skin plus helping it stay (/look) younger. I have been using this for a week now and I can actually see a difference. My skin feels firmer and brighter. I can also notice my dark circles slowly going away and a visible reduction in my blemishes which is such a relief because I have tried a lot of products (and by lot I mean A LOT) but nothing seemed to work so far. What is also wonderful to notice is that only one pump of both the moisturizer and serum are enough for my whole face. I don't have to worry about applying ten different products on my face. That comes handy, especially when we are traveling and I don't have to carry a huge kit just for my skincare products!

My final thought on the Simply Skincare Superior Serum + Moisture are -

• It gives instant results - I have only been using it for a week and I am amazed at how quickly I can see the difference on my skin

• One product for all - The second best thing is that I don't need to get ten products for my eyes, face, and neck. This does not only act as a moisturizer, it also has anti-aging properties. I can notice my skintone becoming even, lightened blemishes and it hasn't given me any acne which is a win-win for me

• Easy to use - All I do is wash and exfoliate my face, take one pump each of the serum and moisturizer, mix it, pat on my face and neck (including around eyes) and massage into my skin so that the products absorb completely. Post that I apply a sunscreen if it's day time or not if I am going to bed and I am done. I don't need to spend time applying tonnes of products.

Will I continue using it?

Absolutely yes! I have never been this happy with a product for my face and this one works like magic. It made me happy when my skin didn’t breakout after I started using. But it made me happier to see the results that I could notice in just one week! Looking at my own skin, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for anti-aging solution to include into their own skincare regime but neither have the time or patience to buy and use ten different products!
